The Conference

IKASNABAR is an international conference that tries to anticipate how will be the future of Education, offering the opportunity to analyze trends and resources that are being used today in teaching and learning environments.

Inviting international experts, we collect the latest developments in free and Open Education and Technology. We also want to give our teachers the opportunity to contribute to this global vision of shaping the future of Learning, collecting their results and contributions in a book.

This is the eighth edition of Ikasnabar and following the format of the last year, for three days will discuss various topics with guest experts: the importance of network technology in Education, how to improve technologies in schools, how to implement the format PBL (Problem Based Learning), the importance of flipped classes, adopting collaborative learning in current models, where will be mLearning in next years and what is the best way to implement the Web 2.0 services and social networking in Education, personalized instruction, cloud applications, the field of LMS (Learning Management Systems), the scope of the virtual world, OpenEdx platform, etc.

The guests from France, Great Britain, Brazil and other nations, are experts in these fields. Therefore, we hope this conference will be of your interest.

 

Open Education and Technology

More and more institutions and companies are using web tools for active learning based on the student itself. In addition, collaborative learning tools are becoming popular in recent years.

Massive Open Online Courses and distance learning mobility (mobile learning) are developing fast. Schools, training centers, universities, all agents of change need to know where education is going to, an Education that is increasingly more open and free year by year.

Audience

This International Conference discusses educational issues for teachers, people with interests in the field of distance education and those trainers who want to learn, collaborate and deepen both social learning and open education and technology.

Ikasnabar is intended, therefore, to all those who want to know more about performance and training in teaching-learning environments with Internet technologies.

Objectives

  • Consider the implications of open education and approach to transforming learning methodologies.
  • Working in the field of application of new technologies in Education as well as research and experimentation.
  • Learn to make or materialize Personal Learning Environments (PLE)
  • How to improve teaching and learning processes through innovative audiovisual materials.
  • How to promote cooperation between professionals, to develop, disseminate and use new materials and educational programs based on the Web 2.0 movement.
  • Think about the development of LMS or Learning Management Systems, and observe the new platforms.
  • Identify the direction to be taken by education, learning processes and the creation of new materials, Trying to know what jobs will be most in demand in the future.
  • Learn the best practices in eLearning. Disseminate the results of these experiences and reflect on them.
  • Consolidate as Hub or point of meeting to promote collaboration between university researchers and business.
